David Woods’ passion for photography has led him to several years of study and development of a new body of work based on High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. This study has  expanded the range and scope of his work.

“HDR photography for me has been an amazing journey. I am now able to create a visual range within my photographs that more closely replicates the depth and colors our eyes actually see.”

A professional photographer specializing in advertising and stock photography for nearly four decades, Woods is a professor of fine arts at Polk State College. David has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Art and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters of Arts in Digital Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design.

From Holly Scoggins Artist Statement:
Her countenance is imprinted. A figure ground disintegration where flesh is bound by a veil of heavy-laden notions of femininity. Bodies filtered through intricate patterns. Her existence is etched eternal.

Holly Ann Scoggins is a North Carolina native and recent resident of New York City. Holly was born and raised in a small abandoned cotton mill town in Western North Carolina. Her fondest childhood memories took place in the local graveyard. Leaving her hometown, she moved to East Carolina University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing. She received a Master of Fine Arts in Figurative Art in Painting and Printmaking from the New York Academy of Art.

Scoggins is a professor of fine arts at Polk State College, teaching painting, drawing and design.
